Bushranger Honey

Bushranger Honey needed a visual identity that would not only create a beautiful and striking product label but also embody the raw essence of the Australian bush and highlight the ecological importance of bees. The aim was to design a brand that was visually impactful and deeply connected to Australian culture and landscape.
The Bushranger Honey logo features a vibrant illustration I created of bees as bushrangers — bold figures from Australian folklore — roaming the native bush. This imagery celebrates bees as vital, untamed custodians of the land, highlighting their essential role in sustaining the ecosystem.
A handcrafted typeface complements the illustration, reinforcing the brand’s values of tradition, authenticity, and craftsmanship. Its rough, organic form mirrors the raw, artisanal nature of the honey. I also wrote the tagline — RAW, PURE & UNTAMED. WILDLY AUSTRALIAN. — to embody the brand’s wild spirit and distinct identity.
The gold foil-printed illustration, set against a deep charcoal background, gives the premium Manuka Honey range a refined, high-end feel that elevates the packaging and reinforces its exclusivity.
The logo and type were reversed out for the flavoured honey range to visually differentiate them from the premium export Manuka line, creating a clear brand hierarchy while maintaining consistency.
This design approach supports the growing product line, which now includes unique flavour combinations aimed at a broader, more adventurous consumer market.

I also created the logo, illustration, and tagline for Karpo’s Way, Bushranger Honey’s small-batch olive oil line. Inspired by Karpo, the Greek goddess of harvest, the striking design shows her nurturing an olive branch, brought to life with a bold green and black palette.
